Aluminum 2024 pipe is made of 90.7-94.7% aluminum, 3.8-4.9% copper, 0.3-0.9% manganese, 1.2-1.8% magnesium, including iron, Trace elements include silicon, zinc and chromium. Known for their unique strength-to-weight ratio, these pipes exhibit tensile strengths of around 400-450 MPa and yield strengths of 270-300 MPa with an elongation percentage of 10-15% they also provide moderate ductility. The material has a Brinell hardness of approximately 120 HB, providing durability in harsh applications.
