Aluminium 6061 Flat Bars are made primarily of aluminum (95.85-98.56%), along with magnesium (0.8-1.2%), silicon (0.4-0.8%), and copper (0.15-0). .4%), trace amounts of iron ( 0.7% max.), chromium (0.04-0.35%), zinc (0.25% max.), and titanium (0.15% max.). Mechanical properties of 6061 aluminum include tensile strength of 270-310 MPa, yield strength of 240 MPa, and elongation of 12-17% It has a hardness of 95 BHN and an elastic modulus of 68.9 GPa.
