Al Alloy Flat Bars are composed primarily of aluminium, with alloying elements such as silicon (up to 12%), magnesium (up to 3%), and manganese (up to 1%) to enhance their properties. Copper (up to 6%) or zinc (up to 5%) may also be added in certain grades for improved strength and machinability. Typical mechanical properties include tensile strength ranging from 100 to 300 MPa and yield strength between 40 and 270 MPa, depending on the alloy. The bars offer good ductility with elongation at break ranging from 5% to 20%, making them ideal for applications requiring durability, lightweight construction, and corrosion resistance.
